A successful HR Software Module should be able to integrate with a wide range of Attendance Machine finger print, the below instructions are For Installing Support Module for Attendance Machine Virdi, if you have it.
Initial Download for Integration Kit,
First of All you need to download the (Integeration Kit) Zip File from the link below , and after that extract the File inside the Hardware Folder within your Market Control Folder
After Extracting The File inside the Hardware Folder, you should find a new folder created Called: "Virdi".
After successfully adding the folder:
Please follow the Below instructions to Setup SQL Server UNIS Database
-Please note that if you're not using either (Oracle/Access) database you need to start using a SQL Server Database in order to use the Machine Integrator, if you're already using a SQL Server Database then you don't need to follow the below steps. In case you don't know which type of database you're using please contact your machine provider-
1. Open Microsoft SQL Server Configuration Tools
- Choose SQL Server Network Configuration
if you're using MSSQLServer then choose Protocols for MSSQLSERVER -> right click on TCP/IP -> Enabled
if you're using SQLEXPRESS then choose Protocols for SQLEXPRESS -> right click on TCP/IP -> Enabled
- Choose SQL Server Services
if you're using MSSQLServer -> right click on SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) -> Restart
if you're suing SQLEXPRESS -> right click on SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS) -> Restart
- Close Microsoft SQL Server Configuration Tools
2. Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Connect to either MSSQLSERVER/SQLEXPRESS Server
- Open UNIS folder -> Database Folder -> SQL Server -> SQL Script -> UNIS
(Please note that if you don't have the folder you need to contact you machine provider)
- A script will open in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio click (F5) or (EXECUTE)
- Close Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
3. Open Unis Folder -> Database -> SQL Server -> SetODBC
- Click Ok
4. Open Services (Control Panel -> System and Security -> Administrative Tools -> Services)
- Right Click on each of the following Services and select Disable, RESPECTIVELY
UWorkServer
UNIS_Server
UDBServerServices
- Right Click to Enable the following services, RESPECTIVELY
UWorkServer
UNIS_Server
UDBServerServices
