VPS is about running several Virtual machines on the same Physical server sharing its resources to save cost and enhance reliability and backup/restore operations.

Market Control Cannot be installed ON VPS Server, Why ??

Bu Nature Softex Market Control ERP Solution uses Softex Auto-Update Service to automatically install software updates and other critical hot-fixes and software batches. In order for the Market Control to install the updates for the system, it needs to access the Online Cloud license Verification system of Softex. Exactly like Microsoft Windows Update Service which uses Server Hardware information (such as Hard Desk Serial # , Memory Check-sum and Processor UID among with other Hardware unique information). If the machine is installed on VPS it will work for a few weeks until the next software update is released. Once the Auto-update is released it will require additional verification for the Software License to make sure the license is valid.

Since VPS Hardware configuration is Virtual, there is high probability that Softex Market Control Auto-Update Service will not verify correctly and causes the system to stop working as (Non-licensed Copy of the System).

On the other hand if the Virtual machine is copied and runs as parallel copy of the software, this will cause the 2 VPS systems to try and authenticate the license on Softex Auto-Update Service. Once the Softex Auto-update service detects that 2 different machines are trying to access the same verification License No. , it will block the license immediately for all VPS machines using the Same license.

Running Softex Market Control Systems on VPS is not recommended as per Softex Auto-update features and will cause the license to stop working on the events of changing VPS configuration or running more than one copy of the VPS, This means warranty and after service support will not be valid for VPS machines which will eventually stop to work once any new software update is released on our Softex Auto-Update Network.
