Why Cheap hosting companies are not good?
Unlimited Hosting Plan is BAD ? why is so.
Since we are providing a lot of high quality web hosting plans that are not cheap as some of the web hosting suppliers around. We have been asked several times, why Softex hosting plans are not as cheap as other competitors and why we do not provide unlimited Hosting plans such as other companies.
We are sharing here our argument and response, and it is up to you to see what is best for you and your business. the truth is there are thousands of web hosting companies to choose from and evaluating can be difficult. The first question you will want to ask your potential company is what types of hosting plans they offer. There is no doubt that cheap hosting plans are very tempting, but it worth to know whether the low price plan will meet your requirements .or in other words “cost effective”, before taking the decision.
Through this journey, there are few focus points to help you to make the right choice, such as:
-Evaluate each offer: Be aware that not all the low prices plan with a lot of benefits consequently you will get high quality services or full support, This leads to the fact that you need a company that is professional, reliable and responsible. Look for a 24-hour customer support (for when your site goes down), and a money back guarantee. Just contact them via email contact form, and see how much they take to respond to you, you will have exact measure how fast these people will act when you contact them for assistance.
-If they mention “unlimited, don’t be enthusiastic towards it because most of unlimited hosting plans are accompanied with many problems. Most companies that provide Unlimited Hosting plans, tends to stop your service when you start using their servers heavily. If they do not do so, then you can expect a slow server with low stability and security because simply they are hosting unlimited websites on their servers (which is limited by nature).
- If unlimited plans are for real, and they are good deals. Then just go for the hosting company "Terms of Agreement" and you will find a term stating that "In case of excessive use of server resource, the hosting company holds the right to take down some or all of your hosted services". If you do not believe me, select any unlimited hosting plan and contact their customer service and ask about the legal term of "Unlimited in their contracts", you will be amazed about what you will find.
The bottom line is, companies are not stupid and they will not get you anything for free. You really get what you pay for, so just select a reasonable plan to get a reasonable service level to host your website.
